A: Try to gather as much information as possible about the arrest and write it down.

  • Name,
  • birth date,
  • social security number of the arrested person,
  • The specific charges
  • Which law enforcement agency made the arrest,
  • Where is the arrested person being held,
  • Has bail been set and, if so, what is the amount

With this information in hand, you may then want to contant a criminal defense lawyer to advise you further. Having the above information, you'll save valuable time in the process.
